The sailing vessel Sly Mongoose was stolen from St Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands in mid May 2006. The vessel was reportedly seen shortly after its disappearance in St Martin with a Spanish Captain and French people aboard. The hull may be a different color from her original white awlgrip and the name may be changed, however the distinguishing characteristics of this "one off" are unique dispite any color modifications.
